Hyderabadi Biryani- a style of the authentic biryani from Hyderabad, India; cooked with the dum pukht method is what we at Biryani Blues serve. Originating in the kitchens of the Nizam of Hyderabad, it combines elements of Hyderabadi and Mughlai cuisines.

Started in the year 2013 in NCR (National Capital Region), Biryani Blues launched its chain of restaurants as a QSR (Quick Service Chain) model; with an aspiration to bring the most aromatic Hyderabadi flavours to the north of India. The brand has since then been driven to a larger goal- to delight its patrons with the best in taste and experience.

“There is no sincere love than the love of food - George Bernard Shaw” is what drives us in the processing of a complete meal that is ‘Biryani’. Great pain is taken to maintain quality of the Hyderabadi Biryani and that can be felt in each bite of it. The care with which each handi is packed is enough to lock the freshness of the food in it. To spice it up, the earthen pots (handis) used for packaging makes it a delight for the customer.

The value for money factor is the quantity of the products which is enough to please a hungry stomach. In a country like India, where food is like an additional dimension it becomes a challenge to leave an impression. But Biryani Blues, has successfully carved out its name on the hearts of people creating a connect with the taste buds. The menu is designed carefully by incorporating together different forms of biryani. The QSR chain with a menu that delights thousands of people regularly, Biryani Blues has established as a successful Biryani brand in the industry.

FOUNDERS’ STORY

Aparna & Raymond Andrews

Biryani Blues (Thea Kitchen Private Limited), India’s most loved Biryani Brand focuses on Quick Service Restaurant chain that sells India's favorite dish - Biryani.

Founded in 2013 by Raymond Andrews and Aparna Andrews, a husband-wife duo who quit their flourishing corporate careers in retail consumer finance to follow their passion of bringing Hyderabadi Biryani to every table in North. Both having worked with top MNC’s in the financial services brought in their learnings on process, quality and efficiency into this age old business.

Hailing from Hyderabad they really missed the authentic biryani in the city of Delhi-NCR, and so they would pack and carry kilos of it back from their visits to their home town. That’s when they saw how difficult it was if one really liked to have a great authentic Hyderabadi biryani. They either had to order it via courier or fly down to Hyderabad to taste it. Thus, their passion for food, and the fact that they are from Hyderabad made them solve it all, by opening Biryani Blues.

Today the chain stands at 68 outlets tall and is dishing out over 2 million delectable biryanis pan India every year. They continue on their mission to “serve great quality products, at a value for money price, delivered on time, every time!”
